Introducing The Turkey Times.

The Robert Stanford Estate is a very busy place with all sorts of news and views! Owners Jan and Madré Malan are passionate about the land and all its riches. Turkeys have a very important job on the farm, the Estate holds a Biodiversity Champion status which endeavours to protect and conserve the unique natural heritage of the beautiful Overberg.

So in honour of the our gobble gobble friends who keep pests at bay we begin Turkey Times!

Lets take a peak at some pics and find out what has been happening....

The Sir Robert Stanford wines were awarded three medals at The Michelangelo CCL Label International Wine Awards 2012. The Sauvignon Blanc and Hansom recieved silver medals and the Shiraz a gold.
The wine shop is stocked and ready for action. Visit us for a tasting.


Jan is very excited about the new cutting edge Scott Henry Trellis System. This system is set up to lift the quality of the grapes. See below the Chardonnay vines.
While some buds are on their way to being bunches of beautiful grapes there is a little harvest happening. At our country restaurant,  Madre's Kitchen you will find delicious waterblommetijes on the menu which have been hand picked by Fabiano and prepared by Madré and her team just for you.
